On 11-30-18 Bosley issued a 100% refund to the credit card we used to purchase the Capillus 202. Thank you.

I am a young woman, and I have thinning all over my scalp. I had an initial consultation in Tampa, FL in July 2018.

The "consultant" Michael T. is not a doctor; he's a client who is now qualified to sell Bosley. He asked me if I'd seen a dermatologist, -no. He said my hairloss wasn't so bad.

Yeah right. In my deperation I purchased the "Power Matrix PRP Club" since I wanted PRP treatment this way I could already be receiving the benefits of the Bosley products and the Capillus 202. It cost $2000 which Michael told me Vanessa from Orlando would deduct from the overall price. He informed me that Vanessa would be contacting me to schedule an appointment.

That was July 21st. So I wait, and wait and no calls from Vanessa are arriving. I contact Bosley. I tried to call Michael T.

I'm told by the Bosley CSR that I need a consultation with the doctor before treatment can happen! That is not what Michael T. told me. He led me to believe that I was eligible for PRP treatment and that Vanessa would schedule an appointment.

I get an appoinment for Aug. 20th, a month later from my initial "consultation". The doctor was very thorough in looking over my scalp. He tells me I need to go in for blood work and a scalp biopsy.

I was disappointed with that, but I could understand that. Next day, 9/21, I get both the labwork and the scalp biopsy done. Okay, so now I wait. Both places had a copy of the script written by the doctor; they new to fax/send the results to Dr.

R. in Maitland, FL. Okay, so I wait some more. Two weeks go by, and I send a contact email to Bosley.

I get a call from Vanessa (finally), and she says they haven't received any of the results. Now we are in September. She asks where I went to get the labs and the scalp biopsy completed. I get a call from Dr.

R. on 9/13 he tells me they received the blood work results, but not the scalp biopsy results, because the results have not been "finalized" and they can not see the final diagnosis. In the meantime he already had the blood work. Okay so I wait again.

I contact the dermatologist's office. They tell me they've faxed it. I call Vanessa, nope they haven't received the biopsy results. I call the dermatologist, and they tell me they'll send it again.

The results are supposedly received by the Maitland Bosley office on 9/28, over two months since I started this journey. Okay, so I wait. On Oct. 18th I get a call from Dr.

R. He then informs me that there were some abnormalities in my labs. Iron is low. My ANA is positive.

I have lupus. This is the results he had in his possession a month before! I get this information THREE months after I started trying to get Bosley to show some interest me as a person and especially as a client, but it seemed from the very beginning that they weren't really interested in trying to help me. 1) Mike T.

has no business being a consultant, and it is unethical to "sell" products to someone who is desperate for assistance, and on top of everything say that the money spent will be deducted from the total owed once I start treatment. 2) Dr. R. should have told me on 8/20 that it could be they would not be able to help me, because of the extent of hairloss.

At that time they should have offered to credit me the cost of the Capillus 202, and we would re-visit re-purchasing one once treatment was started. That would have been the ethical thing to do. 3) PRP treatment is not an option for someone who has lupus. Dr.

R. knew in September that my positive ANA results meant lupus.

I called Dan from the Maitland office and left him a voicemail that I wanted to discuss getting a refund for the Capillus 202. No call back. I called Vanessa, and told her I believed I should get a refund for the money I spent minus the products which I used up in the first 30 days of this run around.

She said she'd call me back, that was a week and a half ago, and I am still waiting. So I'm waiting.

Bosley is not a "nice" company. Their methods are underhanded. Their lack of follow up with a client is careless.

They took advantage of me. This entire experience has been stressful. I have been rooked, and feel like a fool. I chose Bosley, because they are well known.

I figured they must be doing something right, -right? WRONG!

I should have done my research. I want my money back.
